Charm Factory Review and Giveaway!

I received a finished charm bracelet from Charm Factory and I’m excited to announce this will be my first review along with a giveaway for one lucky reader of my blog!

When I first opened the package I was greeted with a nice box containing my bracelet, Big Daddy even stopped to ask “Hey who’s sending you jewelry??” They have so many lovely items for sale on their website, and a huge variety of charms (all of which I’m drooling over!). I was offered one of their finished bracelets to review and I chose the star bracelet because well, I love stars! Up until a few years ago I still had those little plastic glowing stars on my walls and ceiling!

The quality is somewhat higher than I originally expected. Having never been one to wear much jewelry it was a nice surprise, most charm bracelets I’ve seen in stores look and feel flimsy. Even better, their products are Made in the USA! As stated on their website, “Our charms and beads are .925 sterling silver and manufactured in the United States, all lead and nickel free. Our pewter charms are also nickel and lead free. Charm Factory products do not contain cadmium, which is a concern with some products made in Asia. (The jump rings attached to our pewter charms do contain a small amount of nickel. A few imports that we do not make here, like some chains from Italy, are noted in product details.)”

This has a nice light weight to it that makes it feel as though it’s not going to fall apart on me within a few hours. The charms themselves are solid and don’t bend with moderate force, when given a tug they don’t pop right off either! L-train had fun playing with the charms while sitting on my lap and they even stood up to his mighty little grip!

The only drawback I can see is the extension chain. It is awesome for people who have bigger wrists, or maybe I should say “normal” sized wrists, but for myself I’m going to have to find a way to remove it so it doesn’t get in my way or get caught on something. (Note: I’ve got pretty small hands and wrists!)

I love how it fits otherwise, it’s not huge, not too bulky, and it’s pretty! I rarely find bracelets that fit the way I like them too, and I can’t wait to order a couple birth stone charms to add to it!
